The lay direction of the armor rod should be the same as the conductors outside lay. Normally it is right-hand. However, if it is left-hand lay, please clearly clarify on it when you ordering.

Description Made of steel, suitable for round, tapered utility pole from 6” to 10½” in diameter. Features Ground lug has been provided. Brackets provide 6-3/8” of pole clearance. All ferrous parts are hot dip galvanized to ASTM A-153 or AS 1650 & AS 1214.

Description Made of drop forged steel. Each rod is threaded 3-½’’minimum length and assembled with a square nut. Application Used for guying with expanding and cross plate as well as log anchor assemblies. It distributes pulling stresses uniformly over individual strands of guy wire and keep the guy wire from spreading, kinking or bending. Feature Hot dip galvanized to ASTM A153 or EN ISO 1461 or AS 1650 & AS 1214.

Alley Arm Brace

Description Made of angle steel, also called as diagonal steel brace which provides stability and strength to cross arms that are installed in an offset application. Application Mounted to the side of the arm by one 1/2” machine bolt and attached to the pole by another two 1/2” machine bolts or lag screws, at a 45° angle and come complete with solidly riveted lineman step. Features Hot dip galvanized to ASTM A153 or EN ISO 1461 or AS 1650.

Description Made of steel plate for anchoring of 5/8” diameter rods. Application Used for the installation in holes drilled by power diggers or dug with backhoe. Because the size of the hole does not affect holding capacity, the hole can be dug by the same auger that is used to dig the pole holes on transmission projects. Square pot plate anchors are installed in a diagonal bored hole which is undercut so the anchor is at right angles to the guy. Both anchor and rod trench should be refilled and tamped. Features Rated working load is 16kN. Minimum deformation load is 27 kN. Minimum ultimate tensile strengths is 32kN. Hot dip galvanized to ASTM A153 or EN ISO 1461 or AS 1650. Catalog No. 161

Angle Brace Double Span

Description Made of angle steel. It can be attached to the underside of cross arm with 1/2” inch machine bolts or lag screws and fastened to the pole with a 5/8” machine bolt. The pole mounting section is designed to allow more than ample clearance for wrenching. Application Used for supporting heavy cross arm construction. Features Hot dip galvanized to ASTM A153 or EN ISO 1461 or AS 1650.

Description Made of forged carbon steel, quenched and tempered. Application Quick connection with shackles or other line hardware for anchoring on overhead transmission & distribution lines.

Guy Attachment

Pole Line Hardware

Description Made of steel plate, providing an economical and efficient way of anchoring the preformed dead end or strandwise to the utility pole. It has a well smoothy groove to protect the loop of the dead end from damage. Application Can be fixed on a utility pole by a 5/8” machine bolt and nut through the hole to secure guy attachment on the pole.
