Description

Insulated Jacket (body) is made of weather & UV resistance fiberglass reinforced polyamide.

Bolt is tightened until the heads sheared off and

shear-off nut is well designed to make the piercing force constant while keep good conductivity with no damage to cables

Contact plate is made of high strength copper alloy or high strength aluminum alloy which can be used for the connection of aluminum to aluminum, aluminum to copper or copper to copper.

Sealing cover & cable end cap is made of PVC or TPE together with proper grease which can make sure of good performance of water tightness and moisture resistance

Fasteners are made of galvanized steel.

Features

No limitation of mechanical loads for main and tap cables.

The electrical connection of blades, main is of circular arc groove design, tap is a high piercing

force of the tooth tip.

Corrosion resistance of metal parts has proven satisfactory in salt fog chamber and wet SO₂ gas chamber as well.

Shear-off head forces are adapted to the required contact forces for each application. No significant change in contact resistance and temperature after overloads and load cycling.

Conform to NF C 33020, BS EN 50483-4, EATS 43-14 and PIESA 1018-5.

All ferrous parts are hot dip galvanized in compliance with ISO EN 1461, BS 729, ASTM A-153.\
